Assistant Director
Job Title: Assistant Director
Job Location: Alexandria, VA
Job Duties:
✅ Confer with parents and staff to discuss the preschool’s educational activities and policies
✅ Recruit, train and supervise administrative staff and recommend personnel actions for the preschool’s programs and services
✅ Determine the scope of the educational program offerings
✅ Prepare program schedules and descriptions to estimate staffing and facility requirements
✅ Determine allocations of funds for the staff, supplies, materials and equipment
✅ Prepare and maintain the preschool’s activity, planning, accounting and personnel reports and records
✅ Prepare and submit budget requests and grant proposals to solicit program funding.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Management or a closely related field.
At least 6 months of experience in the job offered or in the alternate occupation of Administrative Coordinator.
The required experience must have been gained in a preschool or childcare center.
